Ghost Towns: The Cats of Ulthar is a hidden object adventure game about a girl, a boy named Menes, and lots and lots of cats. As a matter of fact, if you are tired of the same old hidden object stories about ghosts and monsters lurking in dark scenes, this game provides a cuter but still as sinister alternative - cats. Well, I have to say upfront that I am not a big fan of cats as they annoy the hell out of me, but in the name of professionalism, I will try to be less biased in this review.

With recent 3D enhanced graphic animation and Flash technology, games, specifically the action and adventure-based games, have received high ratings, contributing to half the MAUs and DAUs within the social networks. While MargaritaVille Online and New in Town may be softer versions, user behavior shows leaning towards RPGs that contain variety, not repetition. What Is Gamification?



Gamification is a term used to describe the implementation of game mechanics and techniques into areas and industries outside of gaming. In essence, it is the concept of using game features to entice participation - similar to how video games are so great at holding people's attention. Because this in partial works off the predispositions of human nature, it is a concept that is gaining widespread attention throughout the world. Many businesses are beginning to capitalize on gamification and it's application into the workforce by adding points, working against odds, setting goals and rewards as well as transforming weaker links of social media into more powerful networks.
